(Updates with opening)
By Elizabeth Lazarowitz
NEW YORK, Nov 13 (Reuters) - Stocks tumbled at the opening
on Monday after disappointing earnings from Hewlett-Packard Co.
<HWP.N> heightened concerns that the computer sector's days of
super-charged growth may be drawing to a close.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> slumped 73.88
points, or 2.44 percent, to 2,955.11, falling through 3,000 for
the first time since early November 1999.
