I'd expect a shrub to be easy to convince.

the Gore campaign gave away cigarets to get people to vote... they didn't promise them better education for their children... they didn't promise them better health care... they didn't promise anything for the long term future at bettering their situation... just gave them needed cigarets at the time... they were not really interested in people to be counted and heard like equals, just counted like a herd...

best regards

WAKE UP EVERYBODY!!!

Implict in the participation of any Siliconinvestor thread, should be a greater than average understanding of politics and human nature! By virtue of following the market one SHOULD have a deeper understanding and less distorted view of life.

Early Wednesday morning after Mr. Daley's proclamation I went to cash... except for one position LHSP!

Lets use my situation to illustrate the broader reality.... I bought 100 shares of LSHP at $5 7/16 while bottom fishing on October 26th. LSHP could not be sold Wednesday because trading had been halted for several days. They were cooking the books!

Pause for a minute... Let this rattle around in your noggin while I ask a few multiple choice questions!

1. Who should be auditing LSHP now that
irregularities have been established?

A. An accounting firm associated with LSHP
during the time frame in question.

B. Mrs. Hauspie

C. LHSP financial officers auditing only
documents of their choice.

D. Regulatory agencies in cooperation with
neutral accountants.

2. Who should be liaison for LSHP during this
period of scrutiny?

A. An accountant previously employed by LSHP
who formed his own firm that was acquired by
the "impartcial" firm that was hired by
LSHP to clear up earlier questions created
during his tenure and then was made a
partner at the "impartial" firm and put
back in charge of the LSHP audits!{PS:THIS
MAN WAS A HIGH SCHOOL ETHICS TEACHER FROM
1993 TO 1998}

B. Jimmy Carter

C. Jessy Jackson

D. A Representative from a new accounting firm
with an unimpeachable reputation.

3. Where does organized crime market their products
and who do they choose to tempt with those
products?

A. Rural areas with decentralized populations,
mixed political sentiment and poor market
demographics---people from smaller close
knit communities.

B. Urban areas with dense populations,
monolithic political structures and rich
market demographics---populations with high
concentrations of minorities, union members
government employees.

C. Hollyood---Former patients of drug rehabs

D. B and C

4. If you look at a national map of electoral votes
by county (USA Today Nov.9th pg.19a} which
party's foot print would most closely match
the foot print of a greater predilection
towards organized crime?

A. The Democratic Party

B. The Republican Party

C. The Las Vegas Party

D. This question is rediculous, unfair,
politically incorrect and should be
disreguarded!

I guess it would be in my short term interest to bury my
head and wish that LSHP's problems would be ignored and swept under the rug.Then..perhaps I could finally sell my
shares as they gap up on the good news!
