And in fact running the US government is always a process involving many people. That's both good and bad. It's slow and cumbersome. It also prevents radically wrong decisions.

He would hardly be the first President whose dog was smarter than he. Reagan, your hero, was certainly no intellectual giant. Many have been midgets, but they are surrounded by people who are knowledgeable and intelligent.

Frankly, I don't see disaster regardless of who wins. Gore just might be better because that restores gridlock.
