We have short memories, just get some new crisis on the radar--we'll forget--. The tie is evidence of how close they both are to the same central platform, actually. Maybe too close.

going to be a large leadership void.

We have a void now.......Geez where are our Statesmen.......and who are they?????

Someone mentioned Dole and Mitchell.......

I can't think who the statesmen would be on either side.

I guess past presidents. (in-active)

I think there is going to be a large leadership void

have you been asleep for 8 years ???
since 1992 we have seen a near total void in leadership
he has been fending off fraud charges, sexual affair charges, mysterious death attention, campaign violation charges, and much more

like impeachment, little stuff like that

I honestly cannot remember a single piece of Clinton legislation?
I am trying, but I cannot come up with any
plenty of photo opps with foreign dignitaries though
and a few international skirmishes he ordered troops into

leadership? what? are you clueless?
impeached presidents tend NOT to be regarded as LEADERS
unless a dyed-in-wool Democrat is doing the regarding

apologies if you consider the USA as leaderless now
sincerely / jim

I have always thought TOP leadership is one of the most overrated intangibles in our society.

Almost all can tell you that the CEO's of their companies in general are not the real reason for success. To me it is Middle management, operations and product.

I get so sick of hearing how great Welch - GE, Gertzner - IBM, etc. etc. are. YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE HOSSES AND PRODUCT.

Just as in sports - Where is Jimmy Johnson today, Where is Siefert, Davy Johnson etc, etc,. When they had the HOSSES, they were brilliant, without them - Duds.

Almost everything is economically related whether it be personal or Federal.

That is one reason you don't really see me that vehement about either party.

I AM A VOLTARIAN - Politically, I am for what basically helps Voltaire - I just admit it and others don't. We are all biased and all prejudice to some degree. In the end I am a realist - I DO NOT EXPECT A LOT AND NEVER HAVE.
