Amein, one thing is for sure..You won't talk any sense into a democrat. They are the great open thinkers but will not listen to common sense because it doesn't fit their agenda.

Wrong. Only the manual recount was requested by Gore. The earlier was triggered automatically by FL state law, and one of the few Republican leaning counties that use punch card ballots, Seminole, elected to make the first recount a manual one, resulting in the largest gain for Mr. Bush from the recount.
