Vol - I guess maybe one day there wil be a turn around. But I see a recession on the way caused by punishing interest rates and a sky high oil price.

Either of these two are easily capable of breaking the back of the economy, combined they are lethal.

So what can ease up? Well OPEC?? I wouldn't bet on OPEC lowering ooil prices.

Mr Greenspan? Well sad to say I think he actually believes he is doing the right thing and he will keep on doing it.

So much as I love the technology of these great NAZ companies and it is like bieng a part of a great change and watching their almost daily progress on the technology front the investment prospect of investment in this climate is quite frankly now way outside my risk tollerance.

The last nine months have been an unmitigated misery and worse still a total waste of time except for the great cameradery ( spelling??) of this and a couple of the other SI threads.

I said a few times that I thought Mr Market would take it all back and more. I hoped it wouldn't happen but it now looks very likely.

A few more days like today and we will be below 2,500 and so it goes on.

This is now the worst crash in history and shows all the signs of getting substantially worse.

I admire your stregnth and endurance but this has been enough misery to last me a lifetime.

Best regards,

L
