BS!!! It is contingent upon the voter/tax payer to get it right, or to ask before filing/depositing the ballot. The IRS isn't going to "help" me correct my return. They're going to slap my ass with a fine.

Utterly F***G amazing. There was a national crying and outrage that someone might be punished when there intentions were good. Yet the tax code punishes you severely for making mistakes even when your intentions are good and there are no protestations over that. Indeed people lose there education funds, vacation money, and in some cases just about everything they have. A simple waitress in FLorida whose income was 12k was sent a 3k bill by the IRS for claiming that she only got 10 % tips. They took her to court and the media and Jesse Jackson couldn't give a shit. None of this is about right and wrong its about lust for power.
FOllowing the tax code we should be punishing the FLorida voters for making mistakes.
