OT This is meaningless and has always been meaningless. The people don't elect and have never elected the President. The States elect the President. This is not a Democracy and was never meant to be. This is a Democratic Republic. The Constitution has numerous checks and balances, of which the Electoral College is an important one. Without equal representation in the Senate and the inclusion of the Electoral College the small states would never have ratified the Constitution. Why are you lecturing me? I'm not your child. I'm not your wife. I'm not your student. And, in case you hadn't noticed, I'm not an idiot. Spin whatever you want, but leave me out of it. Pat
