Well I'd love to buy calls, the Jan 2002 140's are only about $9, what a steal. But Schwab don't trust me to do this, I guess I don't have enough net worth or somthing.

B*****ds!

rd, the reason suncom is down is VALUATION. u don't pay enough attention to this and have been lucky so far. suncom will eventually be a 20 to 30 multiple stock. I hope it isn't during one of your SPECULATIONS. rd, do you know what a p/e is? Nope? join the club.

PS: i hedged my short slightly already today and expect a bounce.

>>[I can't see anything fundamental which would have caused the recent decline in SUNW, and from all reports they are still on a tear in sales. I am looking at adding some more SUNW calls today. The last few times SUNW got into this range, I bought and it paid out handsomely.]<<

One fundamental thing that is happening is that a lot of telecom companies are up to their eyebrows in debt and bleeding money. Then there are the dotcoms who based a lot of their infrastructure on big expensive servers. Current conditions would say neither of these groups will be buying like in the good old days of yore (say a year ago) any more.
