Same situation. There are recourses for the Republicans, although the issue is in doubt. The main thing is that we cannot make it easy for them.......

Perhaps that was the strategy all along? Get the Gore folks to argue for the sanctity of State law, and then stick the State law they previously defended to them??? Live by the sword, and die by the sword. The Bush camp may have just prevented any chance of further Federal interferance in the State issue. I assure you that Florida's Sec. of State is not holding the line against advice of counsel.

Perhaps the best offense, is a quiet defense.
