The nature of the tossed ballots is what I questioned, and it is not answered apparently. It's one of those things of comparing apples and oranges and letting everybody think they are both apples.

In Palm Beach County, there were over 19000 tossed from the presidential vote alone, I only saw figures for the Senate race in addition to that one (3800 or something like that). Of those 19000, I read that over half had Gore & Buchanan punched, and no others. Some had nobody punched (the smartest voters of all, it seems). All the Bush voters wished they could also have punched Gore. <g>
