If someone is too dumb or too dizzy to handle something as simple and obvious as that butterfly ballot, they shouldn't be voting anyway

Not everyone is as smart as you, not everybody has the same vision recognition as you, not everybody feels confident enough of themselves to ask for help, as you would.

One point-of-view is to say screw the idiots, as you basically are saying. Wayne is right, you can't do anything about it now; however, it needs to be fixed, and saying only idiots fell for it is no excuse. And I hardly think you'd have been so happy to call them idiots if Gore was listed first, and then if 9500 or so people pushed Buchanan and then pushed Bush on that same ballot, handing the election to Gore.
