Nigel, what advice was that? I must say that in real life, some Nov. puts I sold (and almost cashed out of a couple of weeks ago) aren't looking so good at the moment. At least I sold one round of Decembers. So don't be hard on yourself. Who could have predicted this electoral madness? Seems overblown. How much do the executive and legislative choices really affect markets compared to growth? Next week, it's all about the Fed changing bias, IMO. Should they do it, even techs could make up some ground.

Rick or anyone, what do you make of the backlog/canceled order situation? Did they lose some? Management sounded cautiously optimistic about the backlog going forward (so to speak). Thus the Trickle nibble. The vulture will descend for another mouthfull should it test 5 in a serious way, unless subsequent analysis makes that look like a bad plan.

Cheers, Tuck
