It will be interesting to verify if this is right and the reason for the lead time. Does not seem to addup unless Gateway is all of a sudden selling a huge number of 1.2Gs and sucking up the capacity. Too rosy a scenario to believe given the talk about Q4 being rather tepid.

The Celeron 766MHz just isn't much faster than the Celeron 700MHz, while being more expensive. It's also considerably slower than the Duron in most benchmarks. All these factors together show us that the Celeron 766MHz just isn't a very good deal.
