<<When it comes to politics, there's no shortage of hypocrisy.>>

So true, Pierre; so true.

Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it whether it exists or not, diagnosing it incorrectly, and applying the wrong remedy. ...Ernest Benn

Pieere ---We need to declare Gore the winner because the Democrats will keep counting until he does . I voted as an independent ( Democratic congressman and Republican as president ) . The Secretary of State of Florida ---we should follow the law that was set up before the election and allow one machine recount not the subjective recount going on now ( did they punch a hole or did they not ) . By the way per CNN the Duval county ( Jacksonville FL )election board threw out 19,000 votes this election and threw out 22000 votes in the 1996 Presidential election vote . Why are we not having a hand count their since the county went for Bush ?
The bottom line is we had a recount and the winner should be declared

BEST WISHES
BILL
PS Sure hope Florida spend some money on an internet system for the next election . Per CNN they have 11 different voting methods in Florida across the state
