I disagree that GWB has a right to privacy of his past arrests. I think that is an absurd position for you to be taking with respect to the Office of the Presidency.


Upon further reflection, I agree with you. Revealing one's mistakes ultimately benefits everyone particularly when it involves matters of securing personal or public trust.

Fortunately our culture is endlessly forgiving. To be open and straight with people is a rare trait in most arenas. We seem to have a wave of characters that do not understand this simple truth.
