Catalyst Semiconductor Announces Supply Agreement With
Quantum Corporation

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 13, 2000--Catalyst Semiconductor, Inc. (NASDAQ:CATS - news) today announced the signing
of a supply agreement with Quantum Corporation. According to the agreement, Catalyst is supplying key Flash and EEPROM components for use
in Quantum's PC and server related products.

Radu Vanco, President and CEO said, ``The agreement with Quantum reflects the increased level of commitment which we are prepared to make
to our customers. It also represents recognition of our capability to deliver products which have world class performance and reliability, in a very
demanding market.''

Catalyst manufactures and markets Flash memories under a license agreement with Intel Corporation. The Company's Flash memory products are
manufactured under a foundry agreement with Oki Electric in Japan and feature world class endurance of 100,000 cycles.

The Company announced that incremental revenues from product shipments under the agreement will be reflected starting with the fiscal quarter
which ended October 31st, 2000.
