Bush may have missed an opportunity to be a statesman rather than a political opportunist. A statesman would have demanded that there be no ambiguity about who wins the election, and that the procedure be fair and accurate.

Listen,

JFK came into office under a cloud and within a year had created his own mandate. The "winner" where will have to do the same thing. There is no similarity to Milosevich in Yugoslavia or any other such place.
