Welllll....Check this out from ABCNews' election Q&A page.
I think setting an impossible recount deadline may very well qualify as denying equal
voting rights...JMO

Is it lawful for a federal court to intervene in a
state voting process?
Yes, but only in certain situations. Historically, federal
courts do not get involved in state elections because the
Constitution and federal law defers to the states.
There are two major exceptions. Federal law prohibits
denying anyone the right to vote because of race, and
protects equal voting rights—one man one vote—which
usually pertains to drawing up voting districts in a fair
manner.

The Bush campaign’s attempt to seek a federal
injunction to stop further hand counting of ballots in Florida
is an unprecedented case.
So far, the only other federal case related to this year’s
presidential election was filed by an African-American man
in Tallahassee, Fla., alleging he was prevented from voting
because of his race.

You really haven't grasped the scope of the events in Florida if you either think that Bush has won that vote that is still not fully counted, or if you think that the Bush Federal suit was anything but a desperate attempt to stop the counting of all votes that has now failed.

Regardless of the outcome it looks like Bush is the one smearing himself with loser's paint by his pretense that he is in a winners circle. He's really acting no better than Al Haig did. That is sad.
