well, sweetie, this sell-off on close might suggest you may be right - though it's also turning in something close to a doji. Could be the selling has finally run out of steam, at least for the moment. Think it's fairly clear that without HWP we'd probably have had a nice snapback rally today.

The QQQ closed the gap on open, peeked over it, mostly on strength of semis, but most of the other stocks I was tracking, including the ones I was ready to buy on reversal, never made it back. Had one near-miss, watched another I had passed on mimic the QQQ but with a higher high and deeper pullback. Feeling the whole thing probably showed the wisdom of erring on the conservative side at times like these (I mean in stocks, not necessarily elections), but I'm ready to play the same set-ups tomorrow.
