<< Not big oil.... >> It's not about oil. Gore wants to start price controls for pharmacutical companies. These companies only have about a 20% net margin (the big ones with established drugs). What does he want to do, take away ALL of their profits? This would obviously harm the entire industry and seriously hamper the development of future medications and medical advancements. Gore is Mr. Anti-trust. No wonder the legal profession gave him twice as much money for his campaign than they gave Bush. The current administration is soooo proud that they brought in more money by threatening big business than they did in the last 100 years combined. Trust me, Gore will attack big business whether it is justified or not and whether it is in the best interest of the consumer or the economy. Seems to me that the tech stock collapse began at the exact same time that the verdict was found against MSFT and the government decided it was fair to take their intelectual property and give it to their competitors and then insert a government official within MSFT in order to approve all future business. Quite a coincidence. Dave
