Jerry,

These are frustrating times....I am cool, frustrated, pissed, and all that....nothing personal....hanging out? well...I'll do my own thing...I'll try not to interfere, but, whether this is the 3rd phase of a bear market or just irrational trading I'm gonna say my peace right or wrong....this market has been rough...the current political unrest could not have been foreseen.....

forgive me when I get excited...I hate the current market climate. But, yes I try to trade the trend...I hate to see what is currently going on in the country and markets...but, again excuse me if I become offensive on a moderated thread....I do understand what Teresa and you are trying to do here...I applaud that,I do not intend to deter from that...I simply stated some of my views....and was questioned...I will resume from further expression.

but don't try to belittle because of your perceived stature on SI...

as you know I'm not here to be educated or to educate....

at times; price and volume doesn't mean squat...JJ

I hope we remain friends.

Been messing around with some Gann Theory and due to the incredible amount of mathematics involved, I decided to break off and catch up on my peoplemarks. So, naturally, I came across this thread once again.

Noting all the posts about "price and volume", it occurred to me to wonder. Several thousand posts ago I asked if anyone had a method for seeing volume in the Index Futures Markets, like SP for example.

Did anyone ever come up with an answer for that, do you know? I've been doing this for years off patterns and time with some slant on price as well. Volume is not available, to the best of my knowledge. So daytrading Index Futures from a perspective of volume is not practical.

I've asked the question prior and I suppose I shall not get a response now either but are you, or ISpec, or anyone at all able to divine volume in the SP? If so, please tell me how.
