It's even better than you think. Intel has indicated P4 will reach 2GHz on the current .18u process. How fast will it go on a .13u Cu process???? Time will tell....

I wouldn't count on a 1.6 GHz Pentium III - even on 0.13 micron copper.

That architecture has been milked like an old cow - and has about run dry.

1.13 GHz should be OK - and maybe 1.266 - but that's about it in my estimation.
