Jim,

<<<Market is definitely predicting a Gore victory today.>>>

You mean the market is predicting Gore stealing the election. I just thought I'd clarify it. :o)

JimP. Agree. And expect the mkt to show wild volatility as this fiasco,

swings back and forth with each new court decision.

But no surprise. The 1st round, decided by a Clinton appointed judge, goes to Gore.

Drug stocks also got hit pretty good today.

What is your current portfolio stance (%age committed to stocks vs buying power) and what's been the + or - since Sept?

I've been lucky to have taken relatively few hits during that time. And fortunate with very profitable exits from of my late cycle stars like TCLPZ, MWP and RTN.B, in recent weeks. Didn't have those kinds of gains during the same period of 99'.

The longs positions I've retained - mostly overweight in select sm NG E&Ps - have really show excellent relative strength vs almost everything else during that time period.

But no question this is one bitch of a market which is "taxing" my skills to their limit.

Best
