I read in the Washington Post sunday that the Nasdaq had a P/E of 12 in 1985. That must've been after the PC stocks bear market of 1983-1984 when anything "micro" went up.

ok, thanks, I found this article and according to it the nikkei avg. PE was 142 in May of this year
