he problem with Bush isn't his tactics, it is his hypocrisy.

Hypocracy is a bad thing and should be condemend but I think it has often become to be considered the cardinal sin.
I think in many cases if someone complains about X and then does X, the fact that he is doing X is worse then the fact that he is being hypocritical about it when he condems others.

His campaign planned a PR campaign against the electoral college, until it turned in his favor.

Plans and discussions about possible plans are not the same as actually doing somthing. Also I have not seen any solid evidence that Bush has settled on any plan challengeing the legitmacy of the electoral college.

He puts people in jail for doing the same thing he did at their age

Not proven, but if this is true it is definitly hypocritical. I will say I disagree with Bush about his drug policy.

He believes in states rights, until they interfere with his ambitions.

Supporting states rights is normally a complex position. A states right suporter would not always and in all situations support a state over the federal government.

He supports manual recounts when they work for him, and calls them unfair when they hurt his cause.

I have heard no statement from the Bush campaign supporting manual recounts any where. True I don't see him activly opposeing them where they help him but that is not the same as supporting them and does not make him a hypocrit.
