Thanks. To extrapolate Gore/Daley's position to the absurdly ridiculous, but fathomable, now, consider this: 1. Your Honor, I slowed 1/4 of the way at the stop sign, so that's enough. I put on my brakes and slowed down. I intended to stop. You must divine my will that I stopped. 2. Your Honor, I didn't attempt to kill the intended victim, because he lived in spite of being shot once, and I still had three unfired bullets in my gun. If I'd intended to kill him, I would have used the other bullets, too. 3. Your Honor, I didn't commit rape, because I didn't ej****. The "rule of law," a term that Clinton and Reno love to repeat, is in jeopardy here.
