The phoniest thing I saw over the past 12 months was the GOP's attempt to give us a dose of diversity on the stage of the Republican National Convention.

It was almost shameless the way the GOP put these people on the stage, while the delegates were 99 percent white.

It was a farce and every black and Hispanic voter in the country saw right through this.

Also a major factor was the Clinton impeachment proceedings shown on TV.

On one side of the aisle, the right side (directionally speaking) were black women, black men, white women, white men, Hispanic women, Hispanic men.

On the left side of the aisle were overweight white suburban males between the ages of 45-60.

Now, really, which group better defines America and which group doesn't?

The Republican Party = white suburbia and gun nuts.

The Democratic Party = everyone else.

It's about as simple as that.
