Petz,

<if infrastructure is the real reason for the mobile pony slip, ..>

Clearly infrastructure is not the only problem. Even palomino slipped.

<...what does that say about the infrastucture for Palomino?

Will the Palomino run on KT133A at all?>

For laptops KT133is clearly not an option for desktops I do not know know the answer but I would be surprised if it does not work with Palomino.

<Will it even run on 760?>

I think the answer is "no" for laptops and "yes" for desktops.

<Is the ALi chipset the only near-term one with PowerNow support?>

I believe VIA has a mobile chipset on the way for Durons.

Chuck

Petz,

Is the ALi chipset the only near-term one with PowerNow support?

That's a good question. I wonder if PowerNow is build into 760. I think PowerNow technology should be used everywhere, including desktop.
