I disagree. I think Gore will play it to the end, even if it results in a political/Constitutional crisis. His trial lawyer patrons will convince him to go to the mat. Alan Dershowitz's (a la O.J. Simpson) appearance today convinced me of that.

Be careful, there. Democrat lawyers are tough adversaries, and they're playing to Democrat judges. Why do you think Gore has been licking his chops to get into court, but holding back so that it looks like Bush is the one who's litigious? Those 8 Florida suits were filed by Floridians, sponsored by Gore, but not in his name. Can you spell, "Plausible deniability?" It was Gore who filed the first federal lawsuit, but dismissed it a couple of days ago for PR reasons. Now, with Gore's Federal armada of 200+ lawyers flown into Florida from all points North, South, East, and West, Gore dives into the FL State suit with reckless abandon, against the poor, little Florida Secretary of State. Anybody here care for State's rights?
