<< Imagine many conservatives surprise when not only were people not disgusted with him taking advantage of a starry eyed volunteer intern, but to see his popularity poll numbers soar. >>

I think that many considered Clinton's virtues, and didn't dwell on his sex life. Conservatives seem to be shocked at other's sexual misconduct, until they, themselves get caught with the pants down. Remember Livingston and Hyde, etc.

Clinton must have a constitution made of steel. He had many enemies chasing him, looking for anything that could be pinned upon him, plus difficult domestic and foreign issues and demands. He came thru and did a pretty good job.

If Conservatives would get their noses out of everyone else's bedrooms, there might not be such a great divide.
