Joshua, There are many analogies for i-mode, some pro and some con. In addition, transposing i-mode into the US may be very difficult. I'll give you one pro analogy for i-mode and let you think it over. When the online services were just starting to proliferate here, AOL's network was pitiful. CompuServe was years ahead. But AOl's proprietary content was very broad and very hip, plus they had slick features for AOL members like Buddy Lists and Messaging. They also flooded the mail with trial offers, generating significant churn and impacting their income statement, but they retained a lot of those customers too. AOL won, while the very profitable CompuServe unit of H&R Block drifted off. Cooters

As promised, I shall now make one of my excellent timing predictions...reminding everyone that other than my minor "65 will hold" error (well, it only went below that for a couple days!)...I am on my way to becoming a stock guru. Soon I shall start my own thread. WE ARE GOING TO START KICKING ASS on the upside NOW. We did our little 2850 NAZ b.s., are showing some real strong chart support for the Q and other than AMAT, most of the big boy earnings are in the bag. Off to the races. The winners shall be from here: QCOM INTC SNDK and AMAT (if they don't screw up their earnings this week) Thank you...no charge.
