What a shame that the election of our President can hinge on recounts in a few counties in Florida. Gore couldn't win his homestate of Tennessee so is attempting to win by challenging a few paltry counties in Florida.

Message to Gore Campaign and Gore----- "Come Mr. Gore----why not challenge Tennessee???"

Is Gore attempting to steal the election? Very likely imo.

There is one solution to this whole mess----have a nationwide runoff election between the two top vote getters---Bush and Gore and let us all vote all over again.

Then the Nader and Buchanan supporters and other voters could cast their ballots as they see fit---not likely for Gore. And, just maybe the Dems in Florida could get their act together with a system that works better.

Of course, in reality this is not possible.

Such an election would show that the American public is fed up with the shenanigans in Florida and would elect Bush with better than a simple majority.
