Character assasination I find to be a Republican trait

Do you see any resemblance to what you just did?

Does that make you a Republican? <G>

wiz, i think wayne is an honest guy that sees the demos delving into the absurd more often than the repbulicrats AT THIS POINT IN TIME.

it is a judgment call. i smell swine and i know they are both hypocritical slime. i know the republicrats would be doing just as dirty as the demos if they had lost florida in two counts.

no doubt in my mind.

let's keep discussing the issues. as long as bgr aka jhp doesn't make some cheese argument, i promise to focus on issues, too! ;-)

Wiz,

I never said that I wasn't favoring one side. That's obvious. I said I'm trying to be objective. I've been favoring the Bush side because I believe they have been acting in a more responsible fashion - even if they are clearly acting in their own self interests. It's not because I like GW. I didn't vote for him and I'm not a Republican.

You are confused about why I dislike Gore so much. What I have a problem with is not necessarily the actions of an individual. I have a problem with their actions vs. what they want people to believe about them.

I don't care all that much if you accept "shady" contributions. I sort of expect that from politicians. I hate it when a politician is constantly trashing corporate greed, ethics, etc.. and then makes a profit on ill-gotten cattle futures trading.

I am guilty of a number of things that others might not like. Including a few in the Bush column. The difference is that I am not trying to convince anyone that I am a different or better person than I actually am. That's the quality I find totally offensive.

I think GW's cards are pretty much on the table. I don't necessarily like a lot of the cards, but I think I know most of them and I don't think he's presented himself falsely.

I don't care what anyone does. I'm not on any moral high ground. I'm a Libertarian. But I do think I have a right to trash qualities I find very unattractive in people. Gore has loads of them.

Wayne

Wiz,

Just as an after thought, I couldn't care less what people do in their personal life.

I have no problem with Bill Clinton's actions.

I also have no problem with the values of religious people.

I have a huge problem with members of the Republican party that pander to the religious right and then get caught with their pants down.

I hope you understand me a little better. I'll try to keep my occasional emotional outbursts under control (g).

Wayne
