isopatch, Well the first twelve precincts have been hand counted in Broward County and...Each candidate picked up one vote.

Spoke with a Halliburton Manager tonight, after my experience at the Nabors Rig earlier in the day. I asked him how staffing was going.

He said that Halliburton in his location was able to find lots of entry level engineers but were thin at the mid-senior level- hard to find.

Same with experienced field personnel, hard to find. He also noted that in 1997 Halliburton laid off a huge portion of their sales staff. Unfortunately in 1999-2000 they tried to get them back and could not get one of them to return.

So not as bad as the drilling companies have it but just a little anecdotal evidence on personnel in the service industries too....
