alleging that the “butterfly
ballot” used in Palm Beach
County was so confusing as to be
illegal.

The way I see things:
1. The "butterfly" lawsuit is a dead caterpillar. Ain't gonna fly.
2. The GOP suit in Federal Court to stop the ballot counting was a stupid idea, both legally and in terms of PR.
3. The Dems suit against the Florida AG is equally stupid. She is simply upholding the law, and,
4. Broward is out. Miami-Dade will probably be out. Volusia has managed to manually recount before tomorrows deadline. So,
5. The whole presidential decision comes down to whether or not Palm Beach County, home of butterfly ballots, pregnant chads, dyslexic nincompoop voters, and sunshine peeping through pinholes in the ballots, gets to spend a week or two, with the help of psychics and ouija boards, to attempt to discern the "true" wishes of the voters. Wow, blows me away!!
