still pondering whether 'seasonal factors' makes it worth my while to blow out all my pooooooots... and reload around new years... little voices tell me 'no', my brain says 'yes'.

What's your reasoning here? I don't know much TA but I must say it has been damn accurate lately. Every time they talked about the May lows going they talked about 2850. Today that sucker turned on a dime when it got there. I'd have to think since there was absolutely no way this could be viewed as capitulation even with rose colored glasses on, that this level will be tested again. The election is what's throwing me for a loop because I believe in the short term that "news" will override any TA and who knows how far up that will take us and how quickly they sell it back. IF there is enough money on the sidelines, I wouldn't doubt a Bush victory could take us up through the end of the year, but it just seems too unlikely to me given the failing business fundamentals.

i think the silly season(stocks going up because they 'always' go up this time of the year) has been cancelled...or will be substantially late.
