Oregon passed a similar law. By the way, did you catch the part in the story that the initiative garnered 70 percent of the vote? Interestingly enough, that was the same percentage by which school vouchers were voted down in California and Michigan.

Seems to me that the state lawmakers of Colorado, many of whom are beholden to the NRA, are severely out of touch with the men, women and children of Colorado if they rejected the same in the state assembly for fear of offending the NRA.

Perhaps these lawmakers should pay more attention to the wishes of Coloradans instead of the wishes of Charleton Heston and Ted Nugent.
