Bill i think you'll see the biotechs give up some now too. Triple top on that index. The IIX is holding its over-sold support so far, and would hope some of that money will be going into that sector next soon. And yes Tax issues are coming, I myself don't need to rush in now and be force to sell out again before the yrs. end ,if the indices el tanko. I can wait until next yr. and would rather take profits in 2001 since my tax bill is quite large for this yr. I'm sure that i'm not the only one in this camp. Remember Bear markets usually last 9 mos. on aver.

edit: Bill notwithstanding, i still think we need this to be broad base advance in most sectors inorder for this to be real.

On every major index i've looked at the two that look ok are the Dow Utilities and Transportation indices. Utilities are consolidating and Trans is moving up from its lows again. The rest are either coming back to test lows or going lower this time. The Rut, Bkx, IIX, Spx, Sox, Indu, Compx, and Ndx are moving back at about the same time. The divergences are becoming less. Does this mean anything to You?
