Jim, Clay county is one of the poorest counties in FL. I guess the military needs a raise. Probably one reason it went Bush by a wide margin. The northern end of Clay County (the city of Orange Park, where we lived) is just about 3 miles from NAS Jacksonville. A lot of Navy personnel moved there because Clay County charged no property taxes. There was a lot of inbreeding in the rest of the county, however (Middleburg and Green Cove Springs being the two largest towns). Just kidding!!!!! (just in case anyone from Middleburg or Green Cove Springs is reading this <G>) Dave
