Aha! You've finally come out of the closet. I knew it was your Evil Twin doing all that trading <lol>.

Maybe so. But imagine how much higher it would be without me and tekboy*.

Not only the IQ, but the EQ is higher here than on any other thread I've seen, partly helped by removing negative emotional quotient elements to the 'mudge' thread, I suppose. But even the creation of that thread speaks to the high EQ found here.

If you're interested in some pretty good reading on peer-to-peer, the Dec. 4 dead-tree issue of Red Herring has a large briefing section dedicated to the topic. I haven't made it all the way through yet, but it's looking like an area that will need to be watched, with a potential basket of gorilla candidates put together in a couple of years. An interesting comment by Gene Kan -- the "pretending to be a CEO" leader of Infrasearch -- was that "the Web was like the telegraph of the Internet, and peer-to-peer is like the telephone." Bold words for a pre-chasm startup, but, as I said, the area does appear to be worth watching. BWDIK
