Cents, it wouldn't be hard to recall a visual memory of counting down to the 2nd hole and punching it because you saw Gore's name 2nd. Some of those folks heard about the proper voting in the parking lot and of course remembered exactly which hole they had punched. Think right-brained memory. I have visual memories all the time -- especially when driving. Frequently I have no idea what the street names are, just how to get there. Given a map or somebody else's explanation, I could find out after the fact that I was on Roosevelt Way NE even if I didn't know it at the time.
