No matter what any supporter of Gore on this board would like to say the fact is on the election night the futures dropped significantly when it was announced that Gore had carried Florida. When that was reversed and the Bush victory was announced, the futures soared only to plummet after it became clear that he had not won. Apparently the markets did not believe that Gore continue the success of Clinton.
