Jim,

>> As CDMA occupies a spot on the proposed 3G spectrum that will be auctioned off to telecom operators in 2001, M1 is required by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore to move out of the spectrum.<<

Wow, what a victory for GSM over CDMA! They are just freeing up spectrum for wCDMA. More royalties for QCOM. The worst part of toast is the crumbs. How's IDC doing?

Hey Jim- Looks like they were toasted by things out of their control!

Commenting on the value-packed deal for CDMA customers, M1’s Chief Executive Officer, Neil Montefiore, said: “The closure next year of the CDMA network results from developments that are not within our control.

How come nobody else around here has a sense of humor!

Look out for 2500 on the naz.
