TP, I don't think Americans realize how ridiculous they look to the rest of the world. The pictures of the election officials in Florida holding the ballots up against the light to determine if the chad is dangling from one corner or three corners sounds like some bad skit cooked up by the folks at "Saturday Night Live". Once the ballots, chads and all, have been recounted and recounted, what's it going to be next? Are Gore supporters going to claim that Bush benefitted from better quality chads?
