Hershcel, quite the opposite.

Some quick counterpoints:

The Machines are 1950's technology as it turns out and even BUSH HIMSELF AGREED that the manual count is more accurate.

Agreed?

As for behavior, at least the Gore camp has stated that if BUSH wants to order a manual recount in other closely contested states they would think that was perfectly fine.

Furthermore, they would even agree to letting the Republicans go back and request the counties in Florida that they wanted recounted, even though the Republicans missed the post election 72 hour deadline!

HOW CAN THE DEMOCRATS BE MORE FAIR THAN THAT?

Geese!

Actually Gore doesn't really care about the outcome of the hand votes, All he cares is that it keeps occuring.

If by chance the final vote count is kept at bay until after the electoral college meets in December, then the florida vote won't count and according to the current numbers, Gore will win (electoral college).

But in terms of 'trying to steal the presidency', it really makes you wonder what it is the Dems are trying to hide by taking such drastic measures.
