*OT* Agree, I started to respond then realized I was wasting my time. The majority of the Armed Forces have privately owned firearms as do the police. I think you would see massive amounts of people just quitting, going AWOL etc rather than going and trying to take away firearms form law abiding private citizens. Heck, it could even cause a massive civil disobedience or civil war type scenario, ESPECIALLY if it were Hillary or Gore that prompted the attempt. After all, the ones that vote for them tend to be the ones we are trying to protect ourselves from in the first place. We had this discussion not too long ago on a different thread a while back and the subject og hunting also comes up so I will answer that up front. Yes, I do hunt and I do kill my deer each year with my pistol as I enjoy the hunt itself more than just shooting from a few hundred yards away. I was a bow hunter until I didn't have the time to practice properly anymore and switched to handgunning. It still requires stalking and getting close but the kill is faster and cleaner than if I was not a good shot with a bow.

I will be watching today to see if this rally in the market sucks capital from Gold stocks or if they can rally along with the rest of the market.Good Luck,

Lee
