Murali, I myself have NO problem with those, but they also at one point, halfway through the manual recount, decided that they would also count 'pregnaunt chads' as well, where they do the 'sunshine test' to see even if the tiniest of pinholes is there.

Then there are all the other kinds of 'chads' as well that I have problems with. I have no problems if it's dangling by just one edge, it should be counted. All others though, it's subjective and that's the part *I* don't like. Not to mention the fact that perhaps even as part of the 'examination' that a hole could be punched out where there was none before. People can NOT be looking everyone all at once all the time, so no one can guarentee that 'mischif' couldn't happen either.

Plus, what about the other counties? I mean if one county is going to hand recount, then they ALL should, simple as that.

It's the only FAIR way to do it.

If nothing else, perhaps now Florida will join some of the other states in the union BANNING the use of punch cards, a technology I might add, that is OVER 100 years old (it was developed for like the 1880 or 1890 Censous (sp)), and is rife with problems.

JMHO, FWIW ...
