Actually, you seem to have a bunch of different qualities that make you a good investor. One, you do a lot of reading about the companies you follow and their industries. Two, when you used to trade MSFT calls, you studied the patterns of earnings releases and how the company spun news, and played into a pattern that was very lucrative for a few years there. You analyze situations well with options--like your recent comments about buying slightly OTM puts and calls in this market, with the huge volatility, whatever direction it would swing, you'd end up making $...and understanding it was best to do that on companies that haven't had a huge amount of volatility lately and thus inflated premiums. So you seem to have a good feel for the movement of options. Three, you do have faith, and you're quite bullish on the market, so you don't get shaken easily.
