The morning news makes me proud to be a Democrat. I was very pleased that President Clinton took action to preserve the Tsongas National Forest. I am so pleased I am going to increase my contribution to the Sierra Club which was very effective in helping deliver the State of Washington for Al Gore. The Tsongas National Forest is a national treasure which should be preserved as it is and not spoiled by logging, roads and development. Lets save this national treasure for our children, grandchildren and succeeding generations. Proud to be a Democrat!
